More about me …

I play midfield and forward for Syracuse Development Academy (SDA)

Best assets on the field: My stamina, speed and resilience.

One way I improve: Recapping my games, figuring out how to do better next time.

I’ve been told I’m very coachable and I try to apply what my coaches tell me right away.

I love using the Techne Futbol app — in February, I was the 2nd highest in the GA for time spent.

Other training: Personal training sessions 2x a week, practice with SDA 3x a week, play in multiple leagues weekly plus other practice with high-level athletes at least 4-5 hours a week.

Playing soccer in college is my goal, which I know will require hard work and sacrifices, but I am willing to do everything I can to achieve my goal and excel in college. My dad coaches D-1 women’s tennis, so I have been exposed to how much work is required of student-athletes, the things that college coaches expect, how to be a good teammate and to be grateful for the opportunities my sport brings me.

One unique thing about me:
Before being fully focused on soccer, I played tennis competitively — as a 7th grader, I went to NY state championships, was the top player on my HS team, played in individual tournaments across the state and trained at Weil Academy in Ojai, CA, Sept-Dec, 2020.

Everybody told me how good I was for my age and expected me to stick with tennis, but I loved soccer much, much more. My parents let me follow that passion, thankfully. But I still use the footwork, speed and endurance I developed in tennis to my advantage on the soccer field. Tennis is a very individual sport, so I learned early how to deal with pressure and to have a good work ethic. And I still enjoy hitting for fun, and volunteering with ACEing Autism
