SUNY Cortland ID Camp

I learned a lot at the SUNY Cortland camp. We got to ask questions and learn about their team, campus, etc.
We did dynamic warmup, some technical drills and passing, possession, and then finally a full field game. I got to play forward which gave me several touches on the ball and opportunities when I got to the final third. Overall a great experience and learned a lot!

FM Varsity 2025-26

Varsity season has officially started! I love practicing/playing with my teammates and getting to know them better. I want to take advantage of each practice and try to get better every day. In games, I want to make an impact and be more physical. I’m looking forward to a great season!

Claude & Hannah

I recently started working with two additional coaches: Claude Tuyishimire (Claude Academy) and Hannah Anthes (SUNY ESF Assistant XCountry/Track Coach).

With Claude, I’ve been doing one-on-one sessions and I feel like I’ve already improved my shots and technique. We do everything from dribbling to footwork to shooting, and I’m excited to see how else I can improve with his help. Instagram videos: claude_academy20

With Hannah, I’ve been working on my speed and form/how I run, usually in a group of 2-4. My position requires a lot of sprinting and endurance, so the exercises and drills we do help me to run faster and harder. Instagram videos: coach_hannah_anthes

Veo Match Videos

veo video

This year, my team started using Veo and it has already been so helpful. I like how it has clips of me and my plays, so before games and practices, I can look back and know what I should do next time or what worked, instead of trying to remember only bits from the game. This tool helped me play much more physically at the GA Spring Showcase and pressure harder, because in games I didn’t realize that I wasn’t going as fast as I could/needed to or being very physical until I saw myself on Veo … so now I am really focusing on my intensity.

GA Spring Showcase ’25

I’m very excited that I got the opportunity to play in the GA Spring Showcase. Overall, it was such a fun experience. Each game was competitive and we battled hard. I’m happy with my performance and how I shut off everything happening outside of the field and focused on the game. I believe that preparation is a key factor in having a good performance, so I reminded myself how I’ve been practicing and improving every day over the past months. I rewatched several game clips through VEO to see how I could improve, which really helped me be more physical and relentless. It was an amazing first showcase and I’m looking forward to more in the future!

Techne Futbol app

I have really been enjoying the Techne Futbol app that SDA signed up for, it is a great way to find specific drills when you don’t know what to do when practicing, and it has already improved my foot skills overall because I have been getting 100s of extra touches daily. I like the streak feature, you can see how many days in a row you consistently practice, which adds up. Lastly there is a leaderboard not just with my team but with the whole club, state, and app. All of these things really motivates me to keep practicing on my own, get stronger, and compete. I love using this app after school, before practices, and if I don’t know what to do.

LeMoyne Soccer ID Camp

Yesterday, I went to a LeMoyne ID camp. We did warmups, possession games, and half-field / full-field scrimmages. I didn’t realize until the end that I was the only freshman there (and only 1 sophomore), but I felt that I competed well against everyone, and it was a great experience to play with and against the other girls there.

FM Team

The FM JV team is in the midst of our season and I love spending time with my teammates and coaches! The coaches are really helping me improve my understanding of what to do on the field in certain situations and positions.

SDA Player & Parent Meeting

Last night, we had our first team meeting where Coach Tanner went over all the details about upcoming events like showcases and games. I am excited to start the season and we have our first practice in two weeks! I got to meet some of my new teammates as well. The roster for showcases caps at 18 (minus 2 for goalies). I’m super thrilled to see what this year brings and how much I can improve as part of SDA.

SDA Tryouts & Team

I attended tryouts for Syracuse Development Academy’s Girls 2010 team and am excited to say I was selected! I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates, practicing and playing matches together.
